installation steps

1. Open the downloaded Creo software installation package, right-click the compressed package and select [Extract to current folder].

2. Wait for the decompression of the compressed package to complete.

3. Open the unzipped [Creo8.0] folder.

4. Open the [_SolidSQUAD_] folder.

5. Open the [PTC.LICENSE.WINDOWS.2021-03-11-SSQ] folder.

6. Right-click the [FillLicense] program and select [Run as administrator].

7. If it shows that it cannot be found, close the program and reopen it.

7. When [Delete File] is displayed, press any key on the keyboard and the window will close.

8. You can see that a [PTC_D_SSQ] file is generated in the folder.

9. Right-click the [PTC_D_SSQ] file and select [Copy].

10. Open the system C drive.

11. Open the [Program Files] folder.

12. In the opened [Program Files] folder, create a new folder named [PTC].

13. Open the newly created [PTC] folder.

14. In the blank space of the [PTC] folder, paste the [PTC_D_SSQ] file copied previously.

15. Right-click [This PC], and then click [Properties].

16. Click [Advanced system settings].

17. Click [Environment Variables].

18. Click [New].

19. Enter [PTC_D_LICENSE_FILE] for the variable name, enter [C:\LICENSE\PTC_D_SSQ.dat] for the variable value, and then click [OK].

20. Click [OK].

21. Click [OK].

22. Return to the unzipped [Creo8.0] folder, and then double-click to open the [PTC.Creo.8.0.0.0.Win64] image file.

23. Right-click [setup] to install the program and select [Run as administrator].

24. Select [Install new software] and click [Next].

25. Check the options shown in the figure below, and then click [Next].

26. The software will automatically recognize the license (if it does not recognize it, drag the [PTC_D_SSQ.dat] file previously pasted on the C drive directly into the input box), and the status will display [Available], indicating that there is no problem, just click [Next] step】.

27. The default installation path of the software is the system C drive.

28. If you set the software installation path, just change C to D or other disk, and then click [Next].

29. Click [Install].

30. Installing... Please wait for the installation progress to complete.

31. After installation, click [Finish].

32. Return to the unzipped [Creo8.0] folder, and then open the [_SolidSQUAD_] folder.

33. Right-click the [Creo 8.0.0.0] folder and select [Copy].

34. Open the software installation path (refer to step 28) and open the D drive.

35. Open the [Program Files] folder.

36. Open the [PTC] folder.

37. [Paste] the folder you just copied in the opened [PTC] folder.

38. Return to the [_SolidSQUAD_] folder and double-click to open the [SolidSQUADLoaderEnabler] registry file.

39. Click [Yes].

40. Click [OK].

41Open the installed Creo software on the desktop.

42. The installation is completed, and the software opening interface is as shown in the figure below.
