macOS Ventura and above systems use OMI NTFS to mount ntfs disks

Since macOS Ventura 13.0 and above, the default support for NTFS kernel has been removed, most ntfs software no longer supports Ventura and above versions. Currently, OMI NTFS can use the method of turning on the system kernel extension to realize the read-write mode mounting of NTFS disks. .

First you need to download OMI NTFS 

After opening the software, you need to make detailed settings according to the tutorial below.

The following are detailed steps for Mac computers with Intel chips (excluding  chip M1/M2):

  1. First, after completing the installation of the OMI NTFS plug-in, open the system settings. Select "Privacy & Security" on the left, then scroll to find the "Security" option as shown in the image below. If you can't find it, try restarting your computer directly and see if the option appears again. If it still cannot be found, continue with the steps below to open the application to mount the disk.

  2. Click the "Allow" button and enter your password. Once completed, restart your computer.

Steps for Mac computers with pple chip (M1/M2):

  1. After completing the installation of the OMI NTFS plug-in, open System Settings. Select "Privacy & Security" on the left, then scroll to find the "Security" option as shown in the image below.

  2. If an "Allow" button is displayed as shown below, click "Allow" directly and enter the password. Once completed, restart the system to open the application to mount the disk. Skip the steps below.
     

  3. If no buttons appear, try simply restarting your computer and see if the button in the Security options appears. If it still doesn't appear, continue with the steps below to open the application to mount the disk.

  4. If the "Enable System Extensions" button is displayed as shown below, please proceed directly to the next step.

  5. Click "Enable System Extensions" and the following interface will pop up. Then, click "Shut Down."

  6. After successfully shutting down, please wait 10 seconds, then press and hold the power button until the text "Loading startup options" appears, then release the power button to enter system recovery mode.

  7. Select the Options icon and click Continue.
     

  8. Select the administrator user and enter the password to log in.

  9. Click "Utilities" in the top toolbar and select "Launch Security Utility."
     

  10. Select the system disk and click "Security Policy" in the lower right corner.
     

  11. Check "Reduce security" and "Allow users to manage kernel extensions from recognized developers" and click "OK" in the lower right corner to confirm.
     

  12. Click the Apple logo in the upper left corner and restart the system.

  13. After the system restarts, open the system settings again, select "Privacy & Security" on the left, and then scroll to find the "Security" option as shown in the image below.
     

  14. Click the "Allow" button and enter your password. Once completed, just restart your computer.

These steps will enable you to enable the OMI NTFS kernel extension on macOS Ventura 13.0 to mount NTFS disks in read-write mode. Please select the applicable steps based on your Mac computer type.
