MacOS puts files in NTFS file system

After MacOS 10.7, the writing function of the NTFS file system is supported. Since NTFS is a file system invented by a software company, MacOS can only hide this part of the function. I saw some software on the Internet (the software is these: [Tuxera ntfs] [paragon ntfs] [Mounty for Mac]), after installation, you can write data to NTFS, but basically all of them are charged, and the stability of some software is not stable Well, it may result in data loss. I am too poor to buy those software, so I have to look around for solutions. The following is a very practical method I learned on the Internet. You can read and write ntfs files under mac without installing other software:

1. Plug in the storage device of the NTFS file system where you want to write data

2. Open the command window of MacOS (you can open it like this: Launchpad > Other > Terminal), enter the command: diskutil list and press Enter, the following result will appear:

3. Find your own storage device, remember to write the device name (note the case), and then open the Finder

(1) Select the personal computer under the device, click, and then double-click to open your own disk

(2) Double-click etc, etc. is hidden by default, press and hold command+shift+. to display hidden files.

(3) Copy the fstab under etc to the desktop

(4) On the desktop, double-click the fstab file and edit it according to the results of step 2. I am a disk with multiple partitions, so I need to write multiple

LABEL = name none ntfs rw, auto, nobrowse

(5) Save and restore to the etc folder you just opened, replacing the original etc file

In fact, the above steps are to edit the /etc/fstab configuration file. I am worried that the novice user will not be able to operate it, so it is so troublesome to write, please forgive me.

4. Unplug the storage device (hard disk, U disk, etc.)

5. Plug in the storage device (hard disk, U disk, etc.)

6. Double-click to open the Volumes folder in the root directory (same directory as the etc mentioned above)

After opening, you can copy the file inside. The following is the effect of my test:

You're done! ! !
