Open VMware —> Click Edit ----> Select Virtual Network Editor
After opening the virtual network editor, it is shown in the figure below:
From the figure below, we see that the bottom subnet IP is 192.168.152.0 (this is the author's own, the reader's should be different from mine, but the last digit should be 0 )
Then the IP address (host address) of my virtual machine can be set to 192.168.152.3~192.168.152.254. The
host number cannot be 0, 1, 2 and 255 because 192.168.152.0 and 192.168.152.255 are not It can be the host number (Basic Knowledge of Computer Networks - Classified Addressing),
but 1 and 2 cannot be used because we generally set the DNS server to 192.168.152.1 and the gateway to 192.168.152.2
Then we click on the application in the upper left corner of the page in the virtual machine ---->click on system tools ---->click on settings
click network
Click on the settings icon (as shown below)
Click IPv4 ---->Change the address to manual
Note that this is derived based on my virtual machine network! Yours may not be the same as mine!
For the address, choose one from 192.168.152.3~192.168.152.254 (this is the author’s selection range, and the selected host number should not conflict with the host numbers of other virtual machines). Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 (the same for
everyone , The same applies to other virtual machines)
The gateway is set to: 192.168.152.2 (this is the author's, the last one of the reader is also 2, other virtual machines also have this network encoding) The
first line of the server is set to: 8.8.8.8 (the same for everyone, The same applies to other virtual machines)
The second line of the server is set to: 192.168.152.1 (this is the author's, the last one of the reader is also 1, and other virtual machines also have this network encoding)
After the configuration is completed, click Apply
Turn the wired connection off and on again
Then we can see that the IP address has been updated
Click Applications in the upper left corner ---->Click Terminal
Enter the ping command: ping www.baidu.com
ping www.baidu.com
If the ping command is successful, it means that the network has been configured, as shown in the figure below
