Virtual machine network mode - NAT mode configuration

1. Open VMware, click Edit——"Virtual Network Editor

2. Configure the NAT subnet.

Note: You cannot configure an IP segment that is on the same network segment as the physical host

  1. Click NAT Settings. Set the gateway for the virtual subnet

Note: Normally, .1 is used as the gateway. If the network fails, you can change it to .2 as the gateway.

4. Click DHCP Settings, in order to configure the IP address allocation range

 

5. Virtual machine network settings, set to NAT mode

 

6. Open the virtual machine and enter the network card configuration file inside. The path may not be the same, you can search online by yourself.

 

7. Configure the network card address. What I configure here is a static address

8. Save and exit, and then restart the network card.

9. Test whether the host and the external network are reachable
