If the Alibaba Cloud server has a non-public IP address, you need to make some settings, otherwise there may be no sound during the call.
1. Check the IP address
Check the public network and intranet addresses of Alibaba Cloud servers, as shown below:
2. Modify protocol configuration
Click PBX Settings - Global Management - Protocol Settings, set the local address of the SIP/RTP protocol to the internal address of Alibaba Cloud, and modify the external address of the SIP/RTP protocol to the public address of the Alibaba Cloud server, as shown below:
3. Open Alibaba Cloud security group
Click PBX Settings - Global Management - Protocol Settings - RTP Settings in order to view the RTP port number of the PBX. If it has not been modified, the default is 10000-10500, as shown below:
After obtaining the RTP port number, set up the Alibaba Cloud firewall and open the SIP port (5060) and RTP port, as shown below:
4. Set ACL
Use the IP calculator to calculate the internal network network, as shown below. The current Alibaba Cloud internal IP172.29.72.31/255.255.240.0 network is 172.29.64.0
Add this network to an ACL so that PBX can identify the current network as an internal network, thereby distinguishing between internal and external networks and achieving NAT penetration, as shown in the figure below: (The ACL name DefaultAllowLocalnet in the figure below already contains 172.29 by default. 64.0, no need to add a new ACL)
5. Set the ACL in the protocol to let PBX match the internal and external networks
Click PBX Settings - Global Management - Protocol Settings - ACL Settings - ACL matching the local network during manual NAT, and select Allow local by default (remarks for the ACL), as shown in the figure below:
6. Reload the SIP module
Click System Maintenance - System Commands - PBX Reload & Restart - Reload SIP module, as shown below:
7. Check status
After reloading the SIP module, wait for 10 seconds and click Status Information - PBX Status - Protocol Status. You can see the internal and external network information you just set, as shown below:
8. Test it
Register a public network address for testing.
