2. Preface
This is an intelligent speech recognition module that arrived a few days ago, model number HLK-V20. Let’s check and test it.
3. Test results
Measure the module pin spacing and use the support to measure the length of the pins on one side. The length is 14mm. From this, you can know that the pin spacing is 2mm.
In order to facilitate testing on the breadboard, solder the pins to the module. The pin spacing is 2 mm, and then weld a pin below with a spacing of 2.54mm, which is 100mil, so that the module can be tested directly on the breadboard. .
According to the HLK-V20 data sheet, you can see its various pin definitions. The working power supply is 5V. Place the module on the breadboard. Connect a dynamic speaker to the periphery, aim an electret microphone directly at the microphone interface of the module, and insert it near the module on the breadboard.
Next, turn on the power, and the operating current is about 60mA. Afterwards, the speaker plays the first power-on welcome sound. Let's test the corresponding functions of the module. There are only three default instructions, which control switches, lights, and air conditioners respectively. After about 10 seconds, the module enters sleep state. The module needs to be reawakened using the wakeup command.
