VMware Horizon 8 installation and deployment (7) Install the Agent component and publish the desktop

1: Prepare a virtual machine of WIN10 system, change the static IP and computer name, join the domain, and upload the Agent software to the machine.

2: Right-click to install the program as administrator.

3::Select IPV4.

4: Select the components you need to install, and choose according to your own situation. Generally, the default is used.

5: Enable remote desktop function.

6: Start installation.

7: The installation is completed.

8: Shut down the machine after restarting and take a snapshot of the machine.

9: Give the snapshot a name and description so that you can know what configuration the machine has done in the future.

10: Log in to Connection and prepare to create a desktop pool.

11: In the list on the left, find the desktop and add a desktop pool.

12: Select Manual Desktop Pool. A manual desktop pool is equivalent to a dedicated computer, and every modification to the virtual machine takes effect. An automatic desktop is equivalent to a shared computer. Everyone uses the same virtual machine, and modifications to the virtual machine are placed in the user's configuration file. The RDS desktop pool is equivalent to a shared server, and multiple people can connect to the server at the same time.

 13: Select the calculation source. Choose a different source for virtual machines hosted on other platforms.

14: Display VCenter information.

15: Select the default dedicated. Dedicated means that the user has the same desktop every time he logs in, while floating does not mean the same desktop.

 16: Add some access display information.

17: Choose according to the actual situation, and check Display computer name.

 18: Choose according to the actual situation. The resolution of the more designed computer should be higher, and the resolution of others can be lower. You need to check Allow session collaboration so that you can easily connect to the user's computer later.

19: Select WIN10 virtual machine and next step.

20: Default, next step.

21: Submission completed.

22: You can see the created desktop pool.

23: Click on the ID in the pool, there will be an authorization warning, click Authorize.

24: Click Authorization to add authorization. 

25: Click Add.

26: For the domain, select the domain we created before. The user name I entered is administrator. You can create a new user in the AD domain and click Search. I am using administrator here.

 27: Check the user and click OK. It will prompt that the authorization is successful.

 28: Find the computer. If the status is available, everything is normal.
