This version integrates the advantages of the previous TDSQL series product cores and improves many key capabilities such as kernel architecture, Oracle compatibility, performance, isolation, and migration tools. It has greatly enhanced optimization and created a more extreme HTAP domestic high-quality database for enterprises.
In terms of kernel and migration , the TDSQL Fusion Edition kernel has more comprehensive capabilities. It not only supports mixed deployment and unified management and control of stand-alone, centralized, and distributed architectures, but also supports row storage tables, column storage tables, and row and column mixed storage/mixing. It also supports Oracle/ PG dual mode, equipped with migration assessment and migration verification tool TMT, can help enterprises achieve smooth migration of original business.
In terms of compatibility , the TDSQL Fusion Edition is based on kernel compatibility and has built Oracle compatibility at three levels: driver, tool, and kernel. Among them, the driver is compatible with JDBC, ODBC, OCI, and Pro*C, the tool integrates TDSQL Migration Toolkits (evaluation, migration, verification) capabilities, and the kernel is compatible with Oracle syntax and functions.
In terms of isolation , TDSQL Fusion Edition can help enterprises create independent resource pools for OLTP and OLAP. The resource pool can dynamically adjust resource ratios and automatically adjust parameter settings based on business load. DBbrain achieves detailed exploration of TDSQL running information through full-link analysis, comprehensively improves the richness and depth of problem diagnosis, and enhances the level of autonomy. At the same time, DBbrain associates the database with the business, making business flow observable, promoting business transformation, shifting risks to the left, and ultimately forming a virtuous cycle of business optimization and database health.
