In the OPNET Modeler software, except for the top-level network model, the default background color in the node model and process model is gray.
The background color of the node model is as shown in the figure below.
The background color of the process model is shown in the figure below.
After using it for a long time, I found that this gray background is really good for eye protection, and under this gray background, you can see the package flow lines or the attributes of the package flow very clearly. The reason why I want to introduce the method of modifying the background color here is because when we need to take a screenshot when writing a document, the gray background and the white background of Word will appear distinct, as shown in the figure below.
In this way, you can see it clearly in Word, but the printed effect is not as clear as the electronic version. It is better to change the background to pure white.
The following describes how to modify the background color. First, in the process model editing page or node editing page, click Edit on the menu bar, then select Preferences, and then the dialog box shown in the figure below will pop up.
At this time, enter "background" in the search bar at the top of the dialog box, then click the Find button, slide down to find the Background Color under the UI, as shown in the figure below, and click the gray box on the right side of it.
The following color dialog box pops up.
Here you can choose the background color you want to apply. I chose pure white, then click Apply, and click OK to close the dialog box, as shown in the picture below.
Then close the process model and node model, and then open them again to see that the background has changed to the color we set.
The background color of the node model is as shown in the figure below.
The background color of the process model is shown in the figure below.
Paste it into Word as shown in the picture below, it just fits together!
The above is all about modifying the background color in OPNET Modeler!
