How to change the default directory of the opnet modeler project

First point out that opnet modeler has 3 subdirectories and one or two files under C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\. Among them, op_models is the default storage directory for new projects when opnet is used, op_reports is the opnet report file during simulation, and op_admin is the configuration information of opnet individual users. The first two items can be moved to other places while op_admin cannot be moved. why? I think so, op_admin is the configuration information of the individual user, which includes the path of the relevant directory file. Because the configuration file cannot tell the program where it is. He can only tell the program where op_moders and op_reports are.

Now let's explain why we need to modify the default storage directory of op_moders. Since the default directory is on the system disk, the opnet project will be lost when you need to restore the system when something goes wrong. Another reason is that the average C drive is not too big, so if there are too many opnet projects, it will soon take up the space of the C drive.

So how to modify the default storage directory of the opnet project?

Open opnet->edit->preference

Searching for C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator in the dialog serch for will find several items.

Modify the path to where you want it to exist, click OK and everything will succeed.
