1 Introduction
-
KVM high temperature test description:
Place the KVM motherboard in a 50°C incubator for 4 hours. After four hours, record the temperature of the VGA board as well as the SOC temperature and case temperature. -
Test equipment:
two KVM motherboards, temperature recorder, two serial ports, laptop, power supply -
KVM motherboard power on and serial port
-
Four places where you want to record the temperature: Glue the four wires of the temperature recorder to these four places. With two boards, there are 8 places. Record the temperature recorder number corresponding to the position of the board
2. Test steps
-
Test tools: two KVM motherboards, temperature tester, two serial ports, laptop, power supply,
-
Test steps:
- Prepare two KVM motherboards, connect them to the serial port, power supply and temperature tester, and put the two KVM motherboards into the thermostat
- Open the MobaXterm software to record the log printing of the test period
- The thermostat is heated to 50°C and maintained for 4 hours to see if the serial port can print normally.
- After keeping it in a 50°C incubator for 4 hours, check whether there is still printing on the serial port. Record 8 temperatures from the temperature logger.
3. Testing process
-
Place the two KVM motherboards into the thermostat
-
Heat the thermostat to 50°C and maintain the value for 4 hours to see if the serial port can print normally.
-
Record 8 temperatures of the temperature recorder.
CPU temperature of the first development board: 58.0℃.
vgaout temperature of the first development board: 54.3℃.
vgain temperature of the first development board: 56.9℃.
Shell temperature of the first development board: 52.0℃.Second development board CPU temperature: 55.9℃
Second development board vgaout temperature: 53.9℃
Second development board vgain temperature: 54.6℃
