Issue update on April 13, 2023

1. Problem description

Recently, the wifi icon suddenly disappeared during use. Even after restarting using the above method, it was not successful. Therefore, I continued to try to solve the problem.

2. Reason analysis

I plan to continue to find the reason from the network card driver.

Win+x opens the window, selects the device manager, opens it, and expands the network adapter.

I forgot to take a screenshot when I solved it this time, so I just copied the picture from last time, hahaha

I found that there is also a yellow exclamation mark here.

Select self-driven (marked with a red box) and double-click to open it.

I forgot to take a screenshot when I solved it this time, so I just copied the picture from last time, hahaha

It also shows that the device cannot be started.

Then I suspect that there may be a conflict with other drivers, or that the driver was not installed properly during installation.

3. Solution

Two methods came to mind.

1. Uninstall the self-driver

Because I suspected that the self-drive might conflict with other drivers, I uninstalled it directly.

I forgot to take a screenshot when I solved it this time, so I just copied the picture from last time, hahaha

Go back to the network adapter, right-click to uninstall the device, check the prompt box, and then restart the computer.

After restarting, I found that there is a network, hahahaha.

2. Reinstall the driver

Although it is said that the network status was successfully restored through uninstallation, I still feel mentally empty after deleting things. So, after thinking about it, maybe my situation is just that the self-driver is damaged, so I will try to reinstall the wifi driver. ?

I went to the official website to find the public version of the driver, the link is as follows:

Windows® 10 and Windows 11* Wi-Fi Drivers for Intel® Wireless Adapters

Select this to download, then install, and restart the computer after the installation is successful.

After restarting, I found that there is a network connection . At present, there is no disappearance of the wifi driver. It should be that my driver was not installed or damaged at the beginning. (PS: If it disappears later, it may be that the driver conflicts with other drivers, so uninstall the self-drive).
