Migrate to ReFS

Migrate to ReFS

foreword

1. The official version does not support ReFS booting as of the time of publication , and Microsoft documents confirm this.
2. Therefore, if you want to boot from ReFS, you need to join the Windows Insider Program.
3. The Bate channel does not support ReFS boot as of the time of publication , but the Canary channel does.

How to migrate to ReFS

Save the existing Windows system as a .wim image, format the partition to be installed in ReFS format, and release the image to the partition. In theory, no operation is required for EFI booting.

In addition, due to the difference in the .wim image storage tool, please note that the recycle bin will not be packaged into the .wim image in most cases.
