Three default users after successful Oracle installation
1. SYS user: super administrator, with the highest authority, and its role is DBA (database administrator). The default password is change_on_install. Has permission to create databases.
2. SYSTEM user: system administrator with high authority, its role is DBA operator (database administrator operator), and the default password is manager. Do not have permission to create databases!
3. For normal users (normal), such as the scott user during system installation, the default password is tiger. The permissions of ordinary users are given by the SYS user or SYSTEM user. If they are not given, ordinary users do not even have very basic access permissions and connection permissions.
During the installation of 10g, a screen will appear asking you to enter the new password (password) of SYS and SYSTEM. At this time, enter the password you want to enter. It is best to enter the passwords of these two users in this place, otherwise you will log in later You will find that the default password cannot be logged in. Note that the input password needs to start with a letter, and the oracle password starts with a letter.
If not, it will pop up "User password must start with a character" is incorrect. "Do you want to lock the account?" appears on this screen at the same time. The default tick at the bottom is locked, such as tiger, and only SYS and SYSTEM are not locked by default. If you don't want to lock, remove the previous tick.
If it is installed by default, without entering "new password" or modifying "Do you want to lock the account?", the following problems may occur when logging in:
ORA-28009, maybe you only entered the user name and password when logging in. You logged in as a normal user (normal) and the user name is SYS. You forgot to write AS SYSDBA. This must be written because you are logged in as a super administrator. Administrators are not ordinary users.
ORA-28000, the account needs to be unlocked. This is a result of the account being locked during installation. After logging in as SYS or SYSTEM, enter the statement alter user user name account unlock; the user name mentioned here is an ordinary user during default installation, and you can search for lockAccount.log in the installation directory of oralce, which contains default ordinary users.
