" Connectivity Lab " provides real-world testing of Matter
To date, the industry has focused on testing Matter devices and the functionality of the Matter application layer in the connectivity stack in a single-purpose environment . Silicon Labs' Connectivity Lab enhances testing of Matter devices, providing a "home in the lab" environment where developers can explore the many variables and possible device and network configurations that consumers have in their homes . Silicon Labs creates a home-like environment (e.g., kitchen, living room) using a variety of smart home devices and applications, from lighting to locks and thermostats to entertainment systems. By testing Matter devices for use in the home , developers can discover, troubleshoot and fix issues consumers may face. The experience gained from the " Connection Lab " will help Silicon Labs, developers and the entire industry provide consumers with an excellent smart home experience.
