Recently, ShanghaiTech University organized an undergraduate production industry practice-school-enterprise joint talent training activity. The "Smart Life Group" composed of more than 30 students visited artificial intelligence and big data technology company Shanghai Hehe Information Technology Co., Ltd. During this visit, Ding Kai, head of algorithm research and development of Hehe Information, introduced the intelligent document processing technology developed by Hehe Information to college students in detail. Ding Kai mentioned that intelligent document processing technology integrates image processing, document quality judgment, document recognition, layout analysis, document structured information extraction, storage, retrieval, management and other technologies, and runs through the entire process of document information management. In-depth exploration has been carried out in every key link.

Taking the image processing link as an example, Hehe Information is based on the precise cropping and bending correction of the image target area. After removing shadows and moiré, it uses artificial intelligence technology to enhance, sharpen and improve the clarity of the document image to achieve "image quality "Enhanced" effect, improving the quality and efficiency of downstream tasks of document processing such as recognition conversion and image analysis.

During the exchange session, some students were very concerned about issues such as data processing and image recognition in the process of research and development of Hehe Information's intelligent text recognition and PS tampering detection. The technical difficulties and other differences between them were discussed; the students also made innovative thinking about existing products in the creative imagination session, such as combining VR, AR and other technologies to empower scanning scenarios, and further building a network of personal contacts based on the business card business.
