1. Dameng database installation

1. Download the installation package

2. Initialize the database
After the installation is complete, select [Initialize Database], click [Initialize], and the following interface will appear:
If you did not select [Initialize Database] after the installation is complete, and the above interface does not pop up, you can find [Dameng Database] in the [Start] menu, and select [Database Configuration Assistant], as shown in the figure below, you can also call out the above interface.
After the initialization interface pops up, select [Create Database Instance], click [Start], and the subsequent interface is as follows:
If it is not a database for special treatment, it can be defaulted here. Click [Next] directly, and then the interface is as follows:
Select the data directory of your Dameng database, and generally install it under dmdbms\data. After the selection is complete, click [Next], and the subsequent interface is as follows:
The database name, instance name, and port number here are the default ones. After selection, [Next], as shown in the figure below: The next step is to
initialize the parameter settings of the database. If you used the mysql database before, it is recommended to press Configure the parameters in the figure.
Next is the password setting. For convenience, all users are set to a unified password, and the operation can be selected according to individual needs.
The next step is the selection of the sample library. If it is an online database, there is no need to select it. If it is a test and learning database, it is recommended to select it for reference and learning later: the next step is to confirm the information. After it is correct, click
