AMD released chipset driver version 4.06.10.651 to fix the installer unresponsive problem

AMD has just released a chipset driver update 4.06.10.651, which mainly adds official support for USB4 and brings new power plans to the Windows 11 operating system. At the same time, the new version of the driver also fixes the error report problem that may pop up during installation that "AMD chipset software is unresponsive".

According to the change log, the 4.06.10.651 version of  the AMD chipset driver update mainly brings the following highlights:

● Add new program support;

● Added six new drivers;

● Fix the problem that the software may not respond when clicking on the installer UI window.

The following are known issues with AMD chipset drivers:

● Sometimes it is not possible to upgrade to the latest version of the driver through a custom installation.

● Russian systems may experience text alignment issues.

● After the installation is complete, non-English systems need to be manually restarted.

● During the installation process, you may encounter  a message pop-up window from the Windows  installer.

● Uninstallation on non-English systems, summary log or error showing failed status.

In fact, in the earlier 4.03.03.624 version of the Ryzen chipset software, AMD has already brought a driver update for the USB4 Connection Manager (CM).
