July is coming, officially starting a new journey in the second half of 2023! This midsummer, Tencent Cloud CODING has launched key capabilities such as WeChat scan code registration, WeChat notification, and Go product management, bringing more convenience to enterprises and team R&D management! The following is the new function express of CODING, come and see if there are any features you have been looking forward to for a long time:
01 Support WeChat scan code registration
In addition to the original email registration method, CODING has added a WeChat scanning code registration method. After users scan the QR code to follow the CODING service account and enable WeChat notifications, they can receive notifications of key matters (such as things to be done, version expiration reminders, etc.) in WeChat.
The operation method of enabling WeChat notification is as follows:
- Click on your profile picture on the CODING site, enter **"Personal Account Settings"->"Personal Account"** to bind your WeChat ID.
Note: When binding WeChat, you need to scan the QR code to follow the CODING service account, and then you can receive CODING service notifications.
- In **"Personal Account Settings"->"Notification Settings", enable the "WeChat **** Notification"** channel.
After completing the above operations, WeChat will notify you of key events as soon as possible. It is recommended that you enable the WeChat notification channel. We will gradually improve the notification events on the WeChat side in the future, so stay tuned~
Version 02 supports adding existing items or associated iterations
Click any version name to enter its details page, and you can see the newly added "Basic Information" overview page . On this page, you can quickly check the version completion progress, the number of requirements/tasks/defects in the version, or modify the start/deadline date, version status and other information.
In addition, the version supports associating any specified iteration , and automatic synchronization iteration items can be set. After automatic synchronization is enabled, when an item is added or removed in the associated iteration, the same item will also be added or removed in the version, and the item in the associated iteration cannot be removed from the version.
03 Item filter global experience optimization
Item filter, as an important view for users to quickly locate to-do items, has always been the product capability that CODING focuses on polishing. In this update, we have optimized the item filters in the CODING personal workbench, project collaboration, and program in a unified manner to provide you with a more flexible and consistent user experience.
You can fix the filter view to the left sidebar , and you can quickly switch and locate the desired view every time you enter the item list without repeated operations. In addition, the filter conditions can be fixed in the external operation area or hidden , which is convenient for you to focus flexibly.
04 Support Go Type Artifact Library
In addition to Generic, Docker, Maven and other types of product libraries, CODING has added Go type product libraries, and now supports a total of 12 types of product libraries. 05 Performance insight supports custom charts
In addition to the out-of-the-box 70+ metric charts, CODING Performance Insight currently also supports custom charts . We provide many data sources in the fields of matters, code, construction, deployment and testing, allowing enterprises or teams to flexibly configure personalized measurement charts according to actual business conditions, helping our customers to continuously improve and enhance.
06 Added timing, timeout and countdown triggers to the automated assistant
For unfinished items, do you want to automatically and regularly remind the handler? The item is about to time out or has timed out and needs to be notified automatically? A new trigger for the automated assistant can do the trick for you!

Timer : realize the one-time or repeated (hourly/day/week/month/year) execution of the specified action at the preset time node;

Timeout trigger : implement the specified action after the item expires x days/hours/minutes;

Countdown trigger : implement the specified action x days/hours/minutes before the item expires.
07 Custom project permission group supports project association settings
In order to better meet the enterprise's fine-grained permission control needs, the custom project permission scheme adds the following settings:

Permission control settings : specify which members can edit the project permission group;

Project Association Settings : Specify which projects can associate members to the project permission group.
