Synology NAS: The same frp tunnel is used to log in to DS File and browser web pages in APP at the same time

Synology NAS: Log in to DS File and use the web page at the same time through the same frp tunnel

When the number of frp tunnels is limited, I want to use one tunnel to support the daily use of browser webpages, and also support the login and use of DS File's APP.

This article introduces port 443 proxy mapping 5001 of DSM. If it is port 80, map port 5000 of DSM, similar to:

Set port 443 under the domain name to point to 5001

Settings - Login Portal - Advanced - Reverse Proxy Server - Added:

Fill-Save

APP terminal login use:

Address: domain name: 443
Check https (because 443 is the default port of https)
insert image description here

Browser-side effect:

Summarize:

Because the browser uses port 5001 (frp is in https mode, http mode corresponds to port 5000),
DS File uses port 443, it will not automatically map 5001, and needs to be added manually (port 80 is similar)

Some free frp have a limited number of tunnels, this method can save tunnels, and you can log in to the app without opening a new tcp tunnel, which is very convenient.
Through the reverse proxy, it is also possible to set different domain names to map different ports, even when creating, the same tunnel maps multiple domain names. Combined with web station, it can be customized to any port or H5 page, or back-end service
