GoldenDict can use other online dictionary sites by template URL mode.

2. Installation and configuration

Enter the command in the terminal,

sudo apt install goldendict

The installation is now complete. Then find it in the software list and open it, as shown below:

Select Edit --> Dictionary 

After clicking on the dictionary, remove all the places that are ticked √ by default in the two pictures below.

 

 Then add youdao translation

 Double-click the place surrounded by the red box below to add

Name: youdao

Address: http://dict.youdao.com/search?q=%GDWORD%&ue=utf8

 PS: Both enabled and used as a link must be hooked, otherwise it will report not found when it is translated.

 Now if you want to translate, you need to select the text to be translated with the mouse, and then press the combination of Ctrl+c+c, you can see Netease Youdao’s web version translation. As shown below:
