Steps to transfer files between two win7 computers through a common network cable:
1. Use a network cable to directly connect the network ports of the two computers;
2. The first computer: click the network logo in the lower right corner of the computer, right-click to select Open Network and Sharing Center;
Click Local Area Connection, click Properties;
3. Set the ip address and gateway to 192.168.0.1. The purpose is to let this computer act as the gateway of another computer. The subnet mask will be added automatically when you click it, and click OK;
4. The second computer: IP address: 192.168.0.2~192.168.0.254;
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0;
Default gateway: 192.168.0.1, click OK;
5. The second computer: press the start button - enter cmd in the run box;
6. After calling out the command window, enter ping 192.168.0.1 and press the Enter key, as shown in the figure below, indicating that the two devices are connected successfully;
7. If you want to transfer the files of the first computer to the second computer, select the folder of the first computer, right-click to select Share - Specific User;
8. Enter Everyone, click Add, select Everyone, and click Share;
9. The second computer: Open the computer on the desktop and enter the network path in the address bar.
Note: The network path can be seen by selecting the first computer, selecting the shared folder, right-clicking the mouse to select properties, and switching to the sharing tab.
