The shareholder added Tianjin Sankuai Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Meituan, with a 10.42% stake.
Beijing Zhipu Huazhang Technology Co., Ltd. was established in June 2019. The legal representative is Liu Debing. Its business scope includes technical services, artificial intelligence basic software development, artificial intelligence application software development, data processing and storage support services, information technology consulting services, artificial intelligence theory and algorithm software development, big data services and technology intermediary services , etc.
According to the official website , Zhipu AI is a company transformed from the technical achievements of the Computer Department of Tsinghua University, and is committed to creating a new generation of cognitive intelligence general models. The company jointly developed the bilingual 100 billion-level super-large-scale pre-training model GLM-130B, and built a high-precision general knowledge map to form a cognitive engine driven by two wheels of data and knowledge. Based on this model, ChatGLM ( chatglm.cn ) was created .
In addition, Zhipu AI also launched Bigmodel.ai, a cognitive large-scale model platform, including products such as CodeGeeX and CogView, providing intelligent API services. Zhipu AI was founded by Professor Tang Jie from the Department of Computer Science, Tsinghua University. The core members of the team have participated in the research and development of the cooperative project "Enlightenment" between Tsinghua University and Zhiyuan Research Institute.
In August 2022, the high-precision bilingual dense 100-billion large model GLM-130B jointly developed by the Knowledge Engineering Laboratory of Tsinghua University and Zhipu AI was officially launched. It was the only global mainstream large model in Asia that was selected for the Stanford evaluation in the same year. In September of the same year, Zhipu AI completed hundreds of millions of yuan in Series B financing, and released CodeGeeX, a code generation model with a scale of 13 billion parameters. In March 2023, the dialogue model ChatGLM-6B and the 100 billion dialogue model ChatGLM (beta version) will be released.
