It wasn't until the age of 49 that Gao Shi finally let go of his resentment and went to work as a secretary with Ge Shuhan, the Hexi Jiedu envoy in Liangzhou. The position was not high, just to make ends meet.
However , what he didn't expect was that it was this helpless choice that opened up the greatest glory in his life.
In 755 AD, Anlu Mountain rebelled, and the once glorious Tang Dynasty fell into a desperate situation overnight. Gao Shi followed Ge Shuhan to fight against the rebellion, and his Gao family's marksmanship finally came into play . When he arrived at Huainan Jiedushi, Jiannan Jiedushi, and Sanqi Changshi, he was named Marquis of Bohai County, and his achievements were no less than that of his grandfather Gao Kan!

If the Anshi Rebellion did not break out, Gao Shi would probably be just a " secretary " until his death , and his invincible Gao family's marksmanship could only be buried in the grave with him. However, he still waited for this opportunity, and then ushered in life peak.
