1. server
I have an i5+16G home-assembled computer. I occasionally play games and cut videos. I also have an HP gen8 micro server. After using the small server for a period of time, I feel that it is not necessary to turn it on 7*24 hours a day. So I just put it aside and installed all the software on the computer win10 system, set up auto-start, and just turn on the computer remotely when needed. The remote boot is to use the Xiaomi smart socket. The computer is set to start automatically when it is powered on. Just say to Xiao Ai on the mobile phone to turn it on. Sometimes it will be used for remote shutdown and remote restart. I am currently using a remote QQ robot to implement it. The router should use a gigabit router that supports ipv6 and can set up an advanced firewall. At present, the biggest limitation of the use of plex is that there is no public network ip. In order to achieve external network access, I finally discovered the artifact of ipv6. At present, the mobile phone 4G network is assigned an ipv6 address, and the home broadband is basically assigned an IPV6 address, but some settings need to be made on the optical modem and router before it can be used. Therefore, there are also some requirements for the router. In order to realize ipv6 remote access, the ipv6 inbound permission for the corresponding port must be opened on the firewall of the router. At first, I used Xiaomi's AC2100 router, which can realize intranet transmission, and there is basically no problem in using the LAN. However, this router cannot flash firmware, and Xiaomi’s router does not support advanced firewall settings, so it cannot meet the requirements of remote access. In the end, I had no choice but to buy a K2P router on Xianyu, flash the Pandora firmware, and open the ipv6 port on the firewall to realize ipv6 access.
