PMP, an exam that is impossible to fail

In 2018, I took the PMP exam and passed it easily without any suspense. The seven partners who took the exam with me also achieved good results.

I signed up in July last year, preparing to take the PMP exam in early September. I remember that I spent 3,800 yuan on training fees and 3,300 yuan on exam fees. Since one of the registration conditions for the PMP domestic examination is the proof of having participated in 35 credit hours provided by a training institution certified by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, it is necessary to participate in institutional training. I chose a certain institution as my training institution. According to their published data, the pass rate of students trained by them is as high as 90%. Although I wasn't sure about it at first, after the test results came in, I completely believed in the data. Those classmates who did not pass the exam may simply have been under-prepared due to the tight schedule.

During those two months, I previewed some books in advance, participated in 5 days of training, and attended 3 mock exams. On the commute to and from get off work, I repeatedly consolidated the 5 process groups and 10 knowledge areas. When I communicated with my classmates, I found that I was already very diligent. The PMP exam is very simple, as long as you are willing to read and recite, there is no possibility of failing. There will be some calculation questions in the exam, but I can say responsibly that it is difficult for primary school mathematics.

Is PMP worth learning? worth. It is a set of project management framework theory summed up by a group of industry experts through years of experience, and it is an effective way to systematically study project management. Exams are only the first stage of learning. The greatest achievement for our PMP learners is to be able to flexibly apply the learned thinking patterns to actual projects. This is not something that can be proved by completing a certificate.

Plan first, pay attention to details, and make continuous progress. This is probably the spirit of PMP. Like me for those who keep learning like me, come on!
