Installation of SecureCRT8.5

1. start installation.

   

2. Click Next.

   

3. Click to accept the license and Next.

   

4. Click Next.

   

5. Click Next.

   

6. Check Create Shortcut and click Next.

   

7. Take a screenshot and write down the icon directory, and click Install.

   

8. Uncheck the three checkboxes and click the Finish button.

   

 

Registration of SecureCRT8.5

1. Click on the registry directory.

   

2. Run the icon program as an administrator.

   

3. Click on Patch.

   

4. Find the screenshot directory just now (SecureCRT installation directory).

   

5. Double-click the icon program.

   

6. Click OK.

   

7. Double-click the icon program.

   

8. Click OK.

   

9. Double-click the SecureCRT program.

   

10. Click OK.

    

11. Click Enter License Data.

    

12. Click on the next page.

    

13. Click Enter License Data Manually.

    

14. Enter the data and click Next.

    

15. Enter the data and click Next.

    

16. Enter the data and click Next.

    

17. Click Finish.

    

18. Select the icon option and click OK.

    

19. At this time, the registration machine can be closed.

    

20. Click Cancel.

    

21. Note down the ip address of the virtual machine.

    

22. Click the icon button.

25. Fill in the ip of the virtual machine to Name.

    

26. Click SSH2, fill in the virtual machine ip for Hostname, and fill in root for Username.

    

27. Click Terminal, check the icon option, and change the data to 30.

    

28. Click Appearance, first modify the color, choose the one you like; then modify the font; finally modify the character code, click ok.

    

    Note: The character encoding must match the character encoding of the server, otherwise garbled characters will appear.

29. Double-click the connection.

    

30. To accept the license agreement, click the icon button.

    

31. Enter the password, check the icon option, and click OK.

    

 

The color scheme of SecureCRT8.5

Options"Global options》Terminal》Appearance》ANSI Color (ANSI Color).

ANSI colors are divided into two types, standard colors and bold colors.

The color scheme of the bold color is mainly a color scheme prepared for the vim editor, some of which are reused.

First, restore the standard color and the bold color to the default, so as to prevent the vim color scheme from being messed up. We only need to modify a few colors.

1: Background color, select the standard color, this color E, S, L is modified to 125, 192, 56 more comfortable.

2: Compressed package color, this color is multiplexed with the color of the vim editor, this color does not need to be modified.

3: The color of files with executable permissions, such as some executable scripts, this color is multiplexed with the color of the vim editor, and this color does not need to be modified.

4: This color does not need to be modified.

5: Directory color, this color is multiplexed with the color of the vim editor, it is more comfortable to change this color E, S, L to 140, 240, 120.

6: The color of the picture file, this color is multiplexed with the color of the vim editor, and this color does not need to be modified.

7: Soft link color, this color is reused with the color of the vim editor, this color does not need to be modified.

8: Font color (the color of the file with read and write permissions), select the standard color, it is more comfortable to change this color to the color below, click the box, E, S, L is changed to 160, 0, 156.
