Using a laptop to capture packets, the whole process is consistent with the detailed process of capturing packets . However, using the desktop computer to capture packets, it is found that the destination address in the DHCP Offer packet is not the broadcast address 255.255.255.255. Details are as follows:

As shown in the figure, the destination address in the DHCP Offer captured on the laptop is still 255.255.255.255, and Your (client) IP address is the same as the source address in the DHCP Release.
