So what types are there in daily academic reports?

Now mainly include: weekly literature report, semester review report, experimental design report, and experimental result report.

And these types of reports all have one thing in common, that is: must be logical and clear! ! !

Having said the principles of the entire report, how should each type be reported?

For literature reports, freshmen will be required to report the latest literature in the field at the beginning, and the selection of literature is very important at this time.

Don't forget the details. For example, the journal where the article was published, the year, the introduction of the author, the definition of the concept, etc.

The review report, similar to the literature report, is a summary after reading a large number of articles of the same type. And most schools will require students to give a summary report in the second semester of research, so it is also very important.

The necessary content of the review report: title, introduction, definition of core concepts, introduction of relevant theories, review of important literature, consistency and disagreement in the field, what are the important conclusions, and what are the directions to be developed, etc.

Experimental design report, after reading a large number of articles, especially the discussion and outlook of the article. Maybe you have some new ideas of your own, or disagree with the author.

You can come up with your own experimental design to test your ideas. Of course, it is also possible that your own ideas will not work, so you need to discuss with everyone to see if it is suitable and feasible.

The necessary content of the experimental design report: title, introduction, definition of core concepts, review of previous research, shortcomings, novelty and significance of own research, purpose and hypothesis of own research, experimental process, analysis method, etc.

In the process of experimental design, there are some special attention.

1. The experimental process must be specific, not just give a general framework, it needs to be operable and have a basis.

2. The experimental operation can really manipulate the variables you want to control, and control the irrelevant variables, especially the physical properties of materials, the selection of subjects, the writing of experimental procedures, etc.

3. Before the experiment, I want to understand why I want to do this experiment.
