At the same time, the group meeting report is also a summary and sorting out of my recent study.
Although many people on the Internet say that for academic PPT, the form is all floating clouds, and the content is king.
But in today's era where "appearance is king", why not be able to present your content in a better way and let more people know about your achievements?

Contents
In any case, the most important thing about academic PPT is the content. Typesetting is just to sort out your thoughts so that others can better understand and digest them.
So what types are there in daily academic reports?
Now mainly include: weekly literature report, semester review report, experimental design report, and experimental result report.
And these types of reports all have one thing in common, that is: must be logical and clear! ! !
The following pyramid principle is a good example. You can slowly try to use this way of thinking and get rid of your previous loose and divergent way of thinking.
Although this process is painful, logic is really important in the scientific research process.
Having said the principles of the entire report, how should each type be reported?
For literature reports, freshmen will be required to report the latest literature in the field at the beginning, and the selection of literature is very important at this time.
It is best to choose the latest (this year or last year); the impact factor is high (Maess query impact factor); the field is similar to the literature of the same field. If you are not sure, you can ask your brothers and sisters to check it out first.
The necessary content of the literature report: title, journal, year, author, background of the experiment (concept and previous research), purpose of the experiment, hypothesis, process, results, discussion, shortcomings and prospects, own critical thinking, etc. (In the same way, if you do your own experiment and write a good article, you can report your own experimental article in the same way.)
Among them, the most important thing is to clearly explain the experimental process, the experimental conclusion, what the author thinks about this, what kind of inspiration he has, and so on.
Don't forget the details. For example, the journal where the article was published, the year, the introduction of the author, the definition of the concept, etc.
The review report, similar to the literature report, is a summary after reading a large number of articles of the same type. And most schools will require students to give a summary report in the second semester of research, so it is also very important.
The necessary content of the review report: title, introduction, definition of core concepts, introduction of relevant theories, review of important literature, consistency and disagreement in the field, what are the important conclusions, and what are the directions to be developed, etc.
Experimental design report, after reading a large number of articles, especially the discussion and outlook of the article. Maybe you have some new ideas of your own, or disagree with the author.
You can come up with your own experimental design to test your ideas. Of course, it is also possible that your own ideas will not work, so you need to discuss with everyone to see if it is suitable and feasible.
The necessary content of the experimental design report: title, introduction, definition of core concepts, review of previous research, shortcomings, novelty and significance of own research, purpose and hypothesis of own research, experimental process, analysis method, etc.
In the process of experimental design, there are some special attention.
1. The experimental process must be specific, not just give a general framework, it needs to be operable and have a basis.
2. The experimental operation can really manipulate the variables you want to control, and control the irrelevant variables, especially the physical properties of materials, the selection of subjects, the writing of experimental procedures, etc.
3. Before the experiment, I want to understand why I want to do this experiment. It is best to go through how to write this article in my mind, so that there are hills and valleys in my chest, and there are winds and clouds in the movement. (Otherwise, all the lazy ones will be made up when writing articles.)
Experimental result report, after designing the experiment, writing the program, and collecting the data, you need to present your experimental results.
1. Be able to clear your mind and prepare yourself for writing experimental articles.
2. Let everyone discuss the places that are not clear enough to provide new ideas.
Necessary contents of the experimental results report: title, introduction, definition of core concepts, experimental background, experimental process, experimental results, experimental conclusions and discussions, deficiencies and prospects.
Focus on the experimental process and experimental results, but other parts should also be briefly mentioned, so that the audience can have a general understanding.

Although it is said that gold will shine, wouldn't it be better for others to see your own light for the first time? Therefore, exquisite typesetting is also essential in academic PPT.
After all, an academic report is a serious occasion, so the PPT template should not be too fancy, concise and generous, with rich pictures and texts, and clarity is the best.
