Recently, researchers from Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, UIUC, NYU, CMU and other universities jointly explored the topic of basic model calling external tools with the OpenBMB open source community, Zhihu, and Face Wall Intelligence, and jointly published an article A 74-page review paper on basic model tool learning , and released an open source tool learning platform .
The team proposed the concept of basic model tool learning, systematically organized and elaborated the technical framework , and demonstrated the opportunities and challenges that may be faced in the future . This study is of great value in understanding the recent progress of large model tool learning and its future development trends.
