OBS Studio 29.1.3 released

OBS Studio is a free and open source software for video recording and live streaming, providing real-time high-performance video/audio capture and mixing, as well as unlimited scene modes to help users achieve seamless transitions through customization.

OBS Studio 29.1.3 updates are as follows:

  • Fixed selection reset for services not shown by default
  • Fixed a crash when deleting properties in callbacks
  • Fixed an issue where some context menu items did not display keyboard shortcuts
  • Fixed a crash with Freetype 2 text sources with non-ASCII text
  • Fixed AMF encoder reconfiguration and dynamic bitrate not working
  • Fixed AMF preset fallback not taking GPU reported throughput into account
  • Fixed a bug that prevented properties dialogs from being closed with the "Cancel" button
  • Fixed window capture/game capture compatibility notification displaying incorrectly
  • Fixed potential crash using obs-websockets on exit [tt2468].
  • Fixed a crash when uninstalling Lua scripts
  • Fixed an issue that created unnecessary undo/redo entries for text sources
  • Fixed macOS graphics thread timer accuracy
  • Fixed an issue where the inspectable "Source Toolbar" item in the View menu would not update when you used the "Show Source Toolbar" and "Hide Source Toolbar" shortcuts
  • Fixed a bug where switching between "fade out" and "fade in" didn't work properly on fast transitions
  • Fixed a bug in audio settings where audio channels, sample rate and low latency audio buffer mode were sometimes not saved correctly
  • Fixed a bug where the placeholder text for "group" would not localize correctly when adding a new group
