RHEL Red Hat 7 configuration Chinese input method - Smart Pinyin

Compared with the previous 6.x system, the RHEL7.x (CentOS7.x) system has changed a lot. Although the Chinese environment was selected during installation, after entering the system, it is still impossible to switch the input method for Chinese input in the console and editor.

It turns out that this configuration is required to happily use the "Pinyin" input method.

The following content uses the RHEL7.3 Chinese environment and the root user as an example to describe.
