This article introduces two methods for modifying the disk sector size of a virtual machine to 32 on an ESXi server.
method one
1. Log in to ESXi and enter the datastore directory where the virtual machine is located. Each directory is a virtual machine
2. Find the corresponding vmdk file
3. Enter to modify
4. Save and exit
Method Two
1. Create a virtual machine that needs to be installed on ESXi, and do not install the system for now
2. Download the vmdk file of the virtual machine to the local and make the following modifications
3. Upload the modified vmdk file to ESXi and start the system installation
4. After the installation is complete, use the winhex tool to check whether the number of disk sectors is 32 sectors
