Today, on another computer, I planned to search for information on the Internet scientifically, and found that the Google account I logged in actually covered all my browser bookmarks.
It is still quite uncomfortable not to find the original favorite bookmark. Today I will talk about how to retrieve lost bookmark folders and bookmarks.
Find these two files (Bookmarks and Bookmarks.bak) in the following path
C:\Users\NINGMEI\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
where the Bookmarks.bak file is the bookmark file automatically backed up by Chrome, and Bookmarks is the current bookmark file
How to retrieve bookmarks

Usually, we have the habit of backing up some unfamiliar files. We only need to back up the above two files Bookmarks and Bookmarks.bak to one place first, as shown in the figure below:

Then delete the Bookmarks file under C:\Users\NINGMEI\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default , and change the file name of Bookmarks.bak to Bookmarks
Restart Google Chrome
Finally, close and open Google Chrome, and the lost bookmark files can be retrieved
