Turn off the recommended items in the WIN11 start menu

When you open the start menu at the WIN11 logo on the WIN11 taskbar, the recently installed or used programs and documents will be displayed below. If you use a computer in a public place and need to share the screen with the public, the information may not be what we are willing to disclose.

In fact, it only takes some simple operations to turn off the display of these "recommended items" that we don't want to be recommended.

1. Right-click the logo of WIN11 and select "Settings".

2. In the pop-up "Settings" window, select "Personalization", and then click the ">" small arrow on the right side of the "Start" option.

3. In the "Personalization" and "Start" settings that have just been switched, the three switches circled in red are all off.

Then click the WIN11 start menu to view, wow, the "recommended items" just now have disappeared, and I feel much refreshed and feel more comfortable.

OK. You're done.
