A relatively big thing in the database circle recently is that the Gartner Magic Quadrant has been released again. Just looking at 2021, Alibaba Cloud recently won the Leader quadrant again, Huawei's position has improved a lot, and Tencent has disappeared from the quadrant.
If you look at the Magic Quadrants together, you can actually see more interesting things. The figure below is the Magic Quadrant listed for three consecutive years from 2019/2020/2021. You will find:
Alibaba Cloud has entered for three consecutive years, but each time the position is different; in 2020, compared with 2019, the ranking of execution power remains the same, but vison has become stronger.
