Perform basic configuration of switches in Huawei ENSP

Purpose:

•Master the difference between various operation modes of the switch command line;

• Ability to use various help information;

• and basic configuration with commands.

The experimental topology is as follows:

   Here we use two layers of switches, the top switch is S5700, and the bottom two switches are S3700. Then mainly configure the top switch. It should be noted here that different switch models may result in different configurations.

  Set port speed:

Generally, the port has its own auto-negotiation configuration, and there is no way to configure it if the auto-negotiation is not turned off, so here we first use the command un nego auto to turn off the auto-negotiation. Then configure the speed, here we set it to 100. The default speed is 1000.

Configure duplex mode:

The so-called single-duplex mode refers to the mode selected when sending. There are three types in total, namely simplex, half-duplex and duplex. Full-duplex means that when two devices or multiple devices communicate, they support two-way data transmission and can transmit and receive data at the same time. The applications in our life include mobile phone calls, video calls, etc. Half-duplex means that when two devices or multiple devices communicate, it also supports two-way data transmission, but data cannot be sent at the same time, only one can be sent and one can be received. For example, a walkie-talkie call uses this half-duplex communication mode . Now the machine defaults to duplex, we set it to half duplex, and you can see the result as shown above.

Set group state:

Here we set a port-group, where the members are set to two interfaces, so that we only need to operate on this group to realize the operation on the interface. For example, if we set the speed to 100, we can see:

You can see that each interface has been set to a speed of 100.
