Hello everyone, today I plan to share my transformation path as a data analyst.

I graduated from Anhui University of Technology in 2016. In college, I majored in Statistics. Courses include mathematical analysis, advanced algebra, statistics, etc. In my senior year, like most of the graduates, I was quite confused, and I often went to various job fairs. Later, through the opportunity of school recruitment, I interviewed for the job of the store manager of Yierkang Group, so I obeyed the assignment and went to Yierkang Qingdao Branch work.

Starting from this job, I bid farewell to my student days and started my career from store manager to data analyst.

Next, I will give you a detailed account of my career experience from store manager to data analyst.

My first job was the store manager of an Yierkang specialty store. My main work has the following three points:

First, it is to be fully responsible for the personnel, sales, finance, warehouse and other work of the store, and to report to the superiors in a timely manner if there are any problems.

Second, reasonably formulate daily, weekly, and monthly work goals, and lead all salespersons to work hard to complete the goals, clarify the completion of the work in the work summary, and analyze the reasons for its success or failure, and timely analyze and summarize the sales of the store.

Third, keep abreast of store sales and inventory status: analyze daily sales, replenish goods in time, and adjust the order of goods.

After working as a store manager for a year, I was not only rated as a "model store manager" by the group, but I also summed up a lot of store management experience and methods. The company saw that my store manager was doing a good job, and he had theories and methods, so he transferred me to be a store manager trainer.

So I became a store manager trainer.

At the beginning, I thought it was good to be a trainer, and the salary was higher than before. But after doing it for half a year, I found some disadvantages. Such as frequent business trips. At first, I thought that a business trip would be about visiting new places. But when you go to a new place for the first time, you are more excited. The second time you come, you don't have much interest, and the third time you come, you don't think it's interesting. Because of work, you can't come into contact with this city with a tourist mentality. In addition, frequent business trips make people feel that they lack a sense of belonging and have a feeling of wandering around.

In addition, our company requires store manager trainers to wear professional attire when giving lectures. The company's female business attire requires high heels. Because I often have to stand up to give lectures, it is very tiring to wear high heels and give lectures all the time. It is also bad for leg health.

I have worked as a store manager trainer for more than a year. Based on the above reasons, I finally decided to resign. After resigning, I thought that I have been working all the time since I graduated, and I need to take a long vacation for myself. So I traveled to Tibet and Xinjiang for more than a month.

After returning from my travels, I started thinking about my next job, but I was stuck. Am I going to work as a store manager or a store manager trainer again? Or do you want to find another way out?

In short, I don't plan to continue to do the same kind of work as before. I had an in-depth exchange with several of my college classmates. Someone suggested that I consider a job in data analysis, as it is related to my statistics major.

After careful consideration, I finally decided to switch to the field of data analyst.

To do data analysis work, although I am professionally related, I have not worked as a data analyst since I graduated. If I go directly to the data analysis job, I think I still have no idea. So I decided to systematically learn the relevant skills of data analysts.

After some research, I chose CDA Data Analyst. Next, I went to Beijing for a 3-month face-to-face training. I systematically learned the knowledge and skills of Excel data analysis, Power BI business intelligence Kanban production, Python data cleaning, Python machine learning algorithm, analysis report writing, etc. The practicality of the course is very strong. Every day, there are crazy operation exercises, practical homework after class, and a stage test at the end of each stage. During the learning process, there will always be some problems in understanding and accepting new knowledge. Fortunately, the teachers of CDA are very patient. Whenever they encounter operational doubts, they will help solve them as soon as possible.

The purpose of training is to change careers, and finding a suitable job is the truth!

CDA's job search guidance is very professional, and the employment teachers are very helpful. The employment teacher provided a lot of interview opportunities for everyone, made one-on-one revisions to our job resumes, and provided one-on-one guidance for interviews. After I often interview a company, I will give feedback to the employment teacher and do interview review. I also made an interview recording for each interview according to the teacher's suggestion, and listened to the recording immediately after the interview. Some questions were answered poorly. I would check the information through the Internet or ask teachers and classmates, and immediately rearrange the appropriate answers and record them in the notebook for possible future use. Through the interview review, you can find the deficiencies in the interview, and then make targeted enhancements and corrections one by one.

After more than a month of job interviews, I finally found a satisfactory data analysis job in Beijing. Four years have passed, and I have been developing and accumulating in fields related to data analysis, and now my salary has also been greatly improved.

Looking back, I think attending the CDA Data Analyst Training was an important turning point in my career. If I hadn't participated in that training, I don't think I would have successfully changed careers so smoothly, nor would I have the development I am today.

So at the end of the article, I sincerely thank CDA! Thank you to the teachers who taught me and solved my doubts back then! I wish that I will go further and further on the road of data analysis, and hope that my story can inspire and learn from everyone.
