Under the guidance of China Software Industry Association, Open Atom Open Source Foundation, China Computer Federation Open Source Development Committee, and China Open Source Software Promotion Alliance, the 12th "Kylin Cup" National Open Source Application Software Development Competition in 2023 will be organized by openKylin Open Source Community, Co-sponsored by Software Co., Ltd., National University of Defense Technology, and Xinchuang Haihe Laboratory .

2. Participation requirements


(1) Participants

This competition is open to students in colleges and universities across the country, including junior college, undergraduate and graduate students.

(2) Entry form

For the group competition, each participating team is recommended to be composed of 1 instructor (not mandatory) and less than 3 (including 3, including 1 team leader) students;

(3) Description of the competition questions

This competition adopts the form of self-selection + open questions, and the participating teams complete the design, development and testing of their works within the specified time. Specific title requirements are as follows:

1. The project can choose the competition topic recommended by the organizing committee or the custom competition topic, both of which have the same weight, and will be reviewed by competition experts according to the evaluation rules.

2. The project needs to have certain practical value or innovation.

3. The entries must be compiled and generated on the openKylin open source operating system, and can run stably.

(4) Registration Instructions

1. The name of the team must not contain any uncivilized words.

2. Each player can only join one team, and the list of players is not allowed to be changed after the registration deadline.

3. There is no limit to the number of registration teams for each school or college.

4. The participating teams register online on the competition website and must carefully fill in the registration information as required;

5. Contestants need to ensure that the submitted information is accurate and valid.

(5) Competition requirements

1. Entries must be open source and follow the open source licenses of open source projects, such as GPL, MIT, BSD, Mozilla, LGPL, MulanPSL, etc.

2. The content of the participating teams should be original works independently designed and developed by the participating members. Plagiarism and plagiarism are strictly prohibited. If plagiarism or plagiarism is found, the participating teams will be disqualified and the relevant personnel will be held accountable.

3. Products that have been publicly released and have gained commercial value are not allowed to participate; works that have intellectual property disputes are not allowed to participate; products that are about to be released in cooperation with enterprises are not allowed to participate; Prize-winning entries are not eligible for entry.

3. Award setting

This competition is divided into two stages: the preliminary competition and the final.
