After 5 years of graduation, the technology is getting better and better, but the mix is getting worse...

Others are getting better and better, but I am getting worse!

In 17 years, I graduated from an ordinary undergraduate. At that time, I was very confused. I didn’t know what to write in the job search position on my resume, because my family was in a rural area, and my simple parents couldn’t help me. I never mention it either.

On my resume, there are only some internship experiences of science students in school, and then there is a relatively excellent transcript for four years in college, and some scholarship certificates (inspirational scholarship, special class, first class, second class, third class seem to have ). I was also a student at the time, and I didn’t know why, so I entered a very small private unit, more than 2,000 yuan a month (in Xi’an), because the salary was too low, I learned from a friend that his girlfriend was working Software testing is not bad. From then on, I started my software testing road.

In the beginning, I rented a house with my friends in an urban village. The company I practiced at did not work overtime at that time. I got off work at six o’clock every day, bought some food on the way, and it might be half past six when I returned to the house. After eating, I hugged my computer and started watching The video of software testing lasts until 11:30 in the evening, and then I go to bed on time at 12 o'clock after washing up. Except for occasionally going out to meet friends on weekends, the rest of the time is also learning the video of software testing.

Finally, hard work pays off. After I finished those courses (now it seems that what I learned at the time was only the basics, I understood the theoretical knowledge, but I didn’t have practical operations, I also knew some superficial aspects of database and performance, and I didn’t learn automation), and I found software testing. The first job at XX is also my first official job. This job is very good, self-developed, listed company, good environment, good benefits, nice leadership and colleagues, perfect rules and regulations, high proportion of five social insurance and one gold payment, salary after regularization is more than 5,000, year-end bonus is also good, The salary will be raised every six months. Although it is not particularly high, it is already very good for me at the time.

It was okay for me to go home, and I was not in a hurry to go back after work. I just studied at the company. As for the overtime situation, it will be updated once every two weeks, and it will go online on Friday of the second week. Generally, I will work late. However, it is completely acceptable because of the small number of times. I worked in this company for more than a year and resigned. I think you must have doubts, why does such a good company leave? I also want to ask myself, why? It was only later that I slowly realized that this is what a good company should look like. After I learned the lessons from the society bit by bit, I knew all the good things about him, but it has become a thing of the past , I regret my resignation at that time, especially regret. Later, I thought about the reasons why I left the job at that time:

1. I didn’t understand the dangers of society, and thought that what happened to me was good. I was too naive at the time; 2. I thought
that all companies were like this, and I didn’t know that there would be people who didn’t pay for their work. (Maybe I thought this kind of thing would not happen to me);
3. Maybe I am young and energetic, that is to say, "floating", thinking that I have learned more automation and other technologies, and become 4. There are
classmates who are not doing well at work, and several of them resigned at that time;
5. I heard that someone changed jobs and the salary is very high... In this way, I proposed to the leader to resign and sent a message Afterwards, the leader immediately talked to me, but it didn’t change my mind at the time, so that’s it…

It was not particularly difficult to find a second job. It is still a self-developed technology department of a listed company, but compared to before, this is a R&D center just established in Xi'an. The place is not big, unlike the first one. The development in Xi'an has been very stable, the salary is only 1,000 yuan higher than before, and there is no other place better than before (because in my eyes, the first one is already the ceiling of a private company), At this time, I was still renting a house and changed to a house in another community. It was also very convenient to go to work, and my work location was in Xi'an High-tech Zone. I have worked in this company for two years. In fact, I did not want to leave the company at that time. It was because of the coincidence that the epidemic began. The company began to lay off a wave of employees. I stayed, and there were two project teams at that time, but in the second year of the epidemic, the group decided to close the Xi'an R&D center. We all received compensation and lost our jobs again. During the two years in this company, I I didn't give up improving my skills, and I still took the time to learn.

After that, I am going to look for a job in the direction of the northern suburbs, because my boyfriend (my classmate, hehe) and I plan to get married. There are relatively few jobs in the IT industry, and the epidemic may also have some impacts. I may also be anxious to find a job. I don’t want my parents to know that I am unemployed, so I found a relatively small self-developed company with a single holiday and a decent salary. 9K, just pay social security according to the minimum base, don’t pay provident fund, don’t have any benefits during holidays, and no year-end bonus... The company has many stores, and everyone is using the system (various web terminals, mobile terminals), that is Developed according to the ideas of business people, the technical department is completely service, the company's main business is home improvement, the department has 4 product managers, 11 developers in front and back end, but only two tests, the most important thing is: the other one is in The company stayed in the test for 4 years and I left after three months of employment. In fact, if I was only doing software testing at that time, I could still cope with these developments with my ability. The development has always been relatively idle, and I never leave the work station from morning to night except to go to the toilet. , What overwhelmed me was not my testing work, but at the same time, I had to support the problems encountered by online businessmen in the process of using the system. There was no dedicated person responsible for these tasks. Facing 1000+ people, many times the functions were modified , I don’t know about the business, I need to give them some training, and at the same time, it seems to be busier than customer service every day. An average of 3 minutes a day will receive messages on the corporate WeChat. The technical department is on a statutory holiday, while the business department is off during the week, that is, weekends Or any holiday (except for the Spring Festival), I have to hold a computer anytime, anywhere to help with business issues. I interview new employees (can’t keep people), test new test functions, and deal with online business issues. It seems that I do too much work, and I want to do everything well, but I become more and more busy, and finally I am really overwhelmed... Just like this, I don’t know if I haven’t handled my work well, or I can’t bear it now The pressure, and finally resigned after a year.

Then look for a job, maybe because you are a little older, maybe the company thinks you are going to get married and have children, and it coincides with the beginning of the epidemic in Xi'an (the epidemic has not been fully released at that time), there are so few jobs, and there are very few opportunities for interviews. Very few, just a few interviews, I can pass the technical interview, but when I asked about my personal situation later, there was no reply. When it was difficult for me to find a job, I lowered my salary. I joined the current private company as an engineer. During the interview, the leader said that it was not bad, but I haven’t paid a month’s salary normally for more than half a year. Until now, I have been in arrears for two months (later Also posted), maybe because of environmental issues, the company also has its own difficulties, life is not easy...

Sure enough, society is a good university. At the beginning, we always searched for our own world with enthusiasm, but the reality often gave ourselves a resounding slap in the face. In these experiences, I also learned a lot, such as : As a technician, it is very important to work hard to improve your technical ability; most of the work is impossible to go smoothly, and we cannot resign impulsively because of occasional small things; sometimes the first job encountered is often It is relatively good; when you are not deeply involved in the world, listen to the advice of people who have experienced it. After all, they have traveled more than you have eaten. Whether it is work or life, we must learn a lot about how to deal with people, especially At work, you must have the ability to coordinate problems; think carefully when making every choice, sometimes the choice is a rare opportunity, or it may be a bad way...

Finally, share a piece of my self-study information:

This information should be the most comprehensive and complete preparation information for [software testing] friends. In order to better organize each module, I also refer to many high-quality blog posts and projects on the Internet, and try not to miss every single one. Knowledge points, these materials also accompanied me through the most difficult road, I hope it can help you too! ! !
