I was complained by my colleagues today: You don’t even know the DP line. . . . Alas, I really don't know. So I sorted out some information to help me remember.
One thing to know first: Both DP and HDMI are output interfaces for multimedia display, both support video and audio transmission at the same time , and each has its own advantages.
What is DP?

What is HDMI?
HDMI:高清多媒体接口（High Definition Multimedia Interface）,可以高品质的传输未经
压缩的高清视频和多声道音频数据。

区别一：DP接口比HDMI接口的传输带宽更大，传输距离更大，支持多屏显示
区别二：DP接口不需要支付版权费，HDMI接口需要支付版权费，
