The first choice: postgraduate entrance examination or work?
In 2019, at the end of my senior year, I officially graduated from a certain college. Since I majored in politics, it was even worse in the job market where I was unemployed after graduation.
In fact, when I chose a major, I really didn’t consider employment. I just liked it. In class, the teacher told us about refugee issues in various countries, extremist organization issues, and globalization issues. Feeling like I have never touched the stars, but I have been so close to the universe.
After graduation, I found that the teacher explained these issues very thoroughly and told me the disadvantages of contemporary exam-oriented education. The employment market situation for college students is not objective. The employment of college graduates is the top priority for stable employment, and employment is the biggest livelihood of the people. But he didn't tell me how to face it as a freshman and how to find a job that can support me.
The end of the universe is the examination and editing, which is vividly shown in the political major. Our way out is the public examination or the postgraduate entrance examination and then the public examination. Due to the helplessness of reality, I also embarked on the thorny road of the public examination.
My family has always been very supportive of the public examination. In the eyes of my parents, it is a great thing to have a stable and decent job. The second decision: to live near the village or to go far away?

The expectation of the parents is to stay in the small fourth-tier cities in their hometown. They feel that they can stay with their families. But I myself had been immersed in the emotions of failing the public examination at the beginning, and felt that it would be fine to find something to do.
So I stayed in this small city and found a job in network operation and maintenance, mainly doing hardware, such as network computer room installation and maintenance. This job is relatively easy, 9 to 5, weekends and weekends, and the company is relatively close to home, so I can go home for dinner at noon. I usually do what I have to do, and fish when I have nothing to do. I don’t have much technical content, so the corresponding salary is also very low. I eat and live at home, and this salary is only enough for my normal expenses.
I have been doing this job for two years, and I have not learned any skills. I don't even think about getting a promotion or raising my salary. I just beat the workers for food and clothing.

After interviewing five companies, I successfully got 3 offers, salary They are 8K, 8.8K and 9K respectively. After the teacher's analysis and combined with my actual situation, I finally chose the offer of 8.8K.
After I successfully joined the company, I also felt the development prospects of the communications industry. 5G is in a stage of rapid development. I feel that I really made the right choice this time.
