How to choose the configuration
Generally, each map can run on 4G (using memory to clean up and compress the memory, but it will cause performance loss and easy to freeze), 6G+ runs stably, and the requirements will increase after there are more buildings in the server. The memory capacity determines how many maps your server can run at the same time.
The key to determine the smooth operation of the server lies in: network bandwidth and line stability, processor single-core performance, memory frequency and hard disk read and write speed.
The requirement for the number of processor cores is the number of maps opened. There is a saying that one core is difficult to watch with seven cores, and single-core performance is more important. It can be calculated as one core and one map.
The single-core performance of a processor is determined by the frequency and architecture. If the architecture is more complex, you can only look at the frequency. PVP servers have higher requirements for configuration. Generally, Ark servers abroad use household-grade processors above 3.5Ghz, while many domestic ones use E5 processors commonly known as foreign garbage. As for the difference, you can understand it yourself. I personally recommend that PVP servers use i7, i9, and AMD home-use high-frequency processors.
The defense depends on your own situation. The bandwidth requirement is not high, and it mainly depends on the line stability.
It is not recommended to open the service for home broadband, because there is no defense in the domestic environment, and the shared line is prone to interference, causing delays and freezes.
The read and write speed of the hard disk will affect the time required to start the server. If the read and write speed is too low, the read and write bandwidth will be fully occupied when the map is archived, which will also cause server delays and freezes.
Specifically, it depends on the various attributes of the map you want to open and the mods you add. The higher the configuration, the better. There is no way to make an accurate choice of configuration requirements.

Some server vendors may tell you that BGP lines can speed up the network, but in fact it can’t speed up. It just optimizes the connection stability and delay of mobile and China Unicom users compared to single telecom lines.
The bandwidth and defense cost of BGP lines are higher than those of China Telecom alone, but what is exchanged is the line optimization for mobile users, because the connection between China Unicom lines and China Telecom lines is quite stable at present.
If it is used for other server purposes, the BGP line is better, but if you only open an Ark server, I personally think it is not as good as a single telecom line, unless you want mobile broadband players to also have a stable gaming experience.
