[Server][Build][Tutorial] Windows Server 2022 new system configuration

1 Introduction

There is a saying that I am not used to Windows Server, but because I need to use Hyper-V, and there are almost no other requirements, I went to Windows Server 2022

2. Windows Server 2022 configuration

My PC has been configured. This tutorial is a demonstration on the new Windows Server 2022 of Tengmou Cloud.

2.1 Call out this computer, control panel icon on the desktop

Same as Windows 10, right click on the desktop > Personalize, find the following options to set

2.2 Open the wireless LAN service

My motherboard has a WIFI module, and I need to use wireless services.
Right-click on "This Computer" > Manage, call out "Server Manager", click Add Roles and Features, go to the next step, and go to "Features"

Just install

2.3 Change passwords with low complexity

Too high a password complexity is not always good, it would be better if the management account is higher, and other ordinary users personally feel that the password is casual. After all, it is a personal server
Win+R to open and run, type to gpedit.mscopen the local group policy editor, find Computer Configuration>Windows Settings>Security Settings>Account Policy>Password Policy>Password must meet the complexity requirements, set it to "Disabled" .

2.4 Change computer name

Why change? Because the default server name is more regular. . If there are many devices, it will be difficult to tell which one is which on the Internet. . .

2.5 Create a new user

There is nothing to say, service login user verification, user management and the like must go through this, but there is no need to add it for the time being, here is just an explanation

2.6 Router MAC address binding

The local host must be bound, otherwise the DHCP lease will change as soon as the IP is reached, and it will be troublesome whether it is port mapping or anything later. Here I will directly take a screenshot of what I have configured. The specific routing method is demonstrated as the OpwnWrt system.

2.7 Set Firewall Notification Behavior

Very important! This must be set. Windows turns on the firewall and closes notifications by default. Otherwise, you will not know that the firewall will ban you outside when you do functional services later. . . . .
The cloud server I used for demonstration, the default firewall is all turned off, yes, it will save trouble than me. . . .
Open Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall > Left "Change Notification Settings"

2.8 Cancel pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del to boot

The demonstration is a cloud server, RDP does not have this thing, the screenshots are taken from other tutorials, and the infringement will be deleted.
Win+R to open and run, type secpol.msc to open the local security policy, and then find the local policy>Security options>Interactive logon: No need to press Crtl+Alt+Del, set it to "Enabled".

3. Conclusion

That's all for the basic configuration, and I have stepped on a lot of pitfalls. Writing this article is just a record, so as not to step on pitfalls again.
