English mail format sample

I. Introduction

At work, we often communicate with foreigners by e-mail, so it is very important to learn to write English e-mails. We cannot simply use Baidu to translate what we want to say, paste it in the e-mail and send it to the other party. We have to abide by a relatively fixed format according to the scene, use polite greetings, and reflect our own professionalism. Otherwise, when you send emails to customers, you just come up, which is a bit informal Hi, Jack.

2. Email format

Here I am talking about work 电子邮件. If you are asked to write a handwritten email in the English test, the format will be somewhat different.

1 Recipient and title

Take OutLook as an example,

  • ToIt is the main recipient of this email. If there are multiple recipients, and their importance or ranks are different, put the most important person first.
  • CcPut some cc's, they don't necessarily reply to the email, just let them know about it, if they are more concerned, they will reply by themselves.
  • SubjectThe title of the email should be simple and highlight the key points, so that people can know the subject of the email at once, and do not write lengthy titles.
