1. Image Sensor type

a) YUV Sensor

The data format output by the YUV Sensor is YUV, and the image effect processing uses the ISP inside the Sensor. After receiving the data in the YUV format, the BB side only performs format conversion, and does not process the effect. Due to the limited processing capacity of the ISP inside the Sensor, and YUV The data volume of the Sensor is relatively large (YUV422 format is 1 pixel 2 bytes), and the general Size is relatively small, and the common YUV sensors are all below 5M

b) Raw Sensor

The data format output by the Raw Sensor is Raw. The image effect processing uses the ISP on the BB side. After receiving the Raw data, the BB side performs a series of image processing (OB, Shading, AWB, Gamma, EE, ANR, etc.), and the effect is controlled by the BB side. Control needs to be debugged for different modules. Raw sensor is the current mainstream, and the data volume is smaller than that of YUV Sensor (RAW10 format sensor 1 pixel 10 bits). It is processed by platform ISP and can support larger size
