NAT mode refers to the use of virtual NAT devices and virtual DHCP servers to enable virtual machines to be connected to the Internet. The computer is connected to wifi, so that the notebook virtual machine can also access the Internet. The configuration method is as follows:
1. Open the VMware Workstation software, click Edit Virtual Machine Settings, and enter the Configure Virtual Machine Parameters menu.
2. Click the network adapter and select NAT mode.
3. After configuring the network mode as NAT mode, you can start the virtual machine in NAT mode and enter the win10 system. At this time, start to configure the IP of the virtual network. Click the virtual network editor to enter the virtual network editor menu.
4. If administrator privileges are not granted, you need to click Grant administrator privileges before proceeding to the next step. I have already given permission.
5. Enter NAT to set the gateway
6. After setting the subnet IP and subnet mask, click the DHCP setting to enter the DHCP setting menu.
7. Configure the IP set by DHCP, and click OK after configuration.
8. After the above parameters are configured, click the OK button to open the webpage, check whether you can access the Internet, if not, restart the virtual machine system, and try again after entering. The network is normal
9. Click the network connection icon in the upper right corner, and then enter the connection information to view the network IP of the current virtual machine.
So far, the NAT mode of the virtual machine that uses WiFi to provide the network has been configured, and the virtual machine can also access the Internet normally.
