When Ubuntu is installed, due to special needs, the swap should be larger and so on. A custom partition is required.
Two partitioning methods with swap partitions are provided below:
The first type contains 4 partitions, which are
/partition (size: 15G+)
Swap space partition (size: 3G, according to the size of the hard disk, the maximum is twice the memory, the minimum is 512MB), similar to the virtual memory of Windows
/boot partition (200MB)
/home partition (full space left)
The second type contains 3 partitions, namely
/ partition (size: 15GB+)
Swap space partition (size: 3G, according to the size of the hard disk, the maximum is twice the memory, and the minimum is 512MB)
/home partition (full space left)
