introduces the use of hadoop to count the number of earthquakes in each state in the United States. If we do not use hadoop, how can we do similar spatial analysis?
Suppose there are two feature classes, the point feature class represents rainfall events, including the rainfall attribute. The polygon feature class represents three regions, including the region name attribute. Now suppose that the rainfall in the three regions is counted.
First ,
spatial connection is performed. The connected feature class will have both the name and rain attributes, and the rain can be aggregated
according to the name.
